about

The Dell-hi’s is a Brooklyn-based rocksteady trio inspired by traditional Jamaican music of the 1960s and 1970s. In their debut EP So Follows The Dance, The Dell-Hi’s sing a message of love, life and truth in warm 3-part harmony backed by some of Brooklyn’s top rocksteady and reggae musicians. So Follows The Dance is a celebration of the sounds and rhythms of traditional rocksteady music that fill your hearts and move your feet.

The vocalists for The Dell-Hi’s are composed of Timothy Schletter, Monica VanderWyde and Daniel Frith—a trio of friends who have sung and harmonized together for years. Each musician credited on The Dell-Hi’s album is a veritable force of nature in their own right. Their collective musical contributions, past and current, span a wide range of projects and associated acts such as The Far East, the Full Watts, Coldspot 8, The Pinstripes, Brooklyn Attractors, The Junior Brothers, Jammyland All-Stars, King Django, Eastside Combo, Uzimon and more.
